The sacred written form enters a contemporary American museum conversation.
Ayesha Kamal’s thirty-four mixed-media canvases move from Lahore studio practice into a Washington, D.C. museum setting. Hummingbird Film Studios Inc. organizes and presents the exhibition, with curator and presenting producer Umar John shaping its narrative, interpretation and audience experience.
